DTI warrants that each of its products will be free from material and workmanship defects for a period of one year from the invoice date (exceptions: CPU's and RAM are covered by a 30-day warranty period only). If the customer discovers a defect, DTI will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product at no charge to the customer, provided it is returned during the warranty period of one year, with transportation charges prepaid. The returned product must be properly packaged in it’s original packaging to obtain warranty service.
For warranty service, contact DTI at (985) 809-1766 to obtain a "Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number." A copy of the invoice as well as the RMA form with the appropriate DTI serial number and model number is required for warranty service. RMAs are only valid for a period of 10 days. Please return equipment within this time period.
- Abuse, unreasonable use, mistreatment, or neglect
- Damage caused during installation
- Damage caused by modification or repair not made or authorized by DTI
- DTI products whose serial number has been removed or defaced
- Damage caused connection to improper devices or defective devices
- Damage caused by improper, improperly used packaging or by use of non-DTI-packing
- Damage caused by lack of ESD protection
THE WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. DTI SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND AGAINST INFRINGEMENT. No DTI distributor, representative, agent or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty.
RMA - Return Material Authorization instructions for defective product returns
Please collect all information related to the problem encountered (e.g. model number and type of equipment, serial number, Operating system, CPU and RAM installed, other hardware and software connected or used). Take note of any abnormality and print onscreen error messages if possible.

If your product is diagnosed as defective you can obtain a Return Material Request (RMA) form by calling (985) 809-1766 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Fill out the RMA request form as completely as possible and fax it to us at (985) 809 1665. We will issue an RMA number and return instructions. You must have an RMA to return a defective product. No product will be accepted without an RMA number. Please be sure the RMA number is on the shipping label or outside of your package.
DTI's standard warranty period is one year but some custom designed products may have different warranties. If the product is out-of-warranty, you will be responsible for the repair charges.
Ship, prepaid, the defective product in its original packaging, copies of both the completed RMA form (with the RMA number) as well as the invoice to the address provided with the RMA number.
Product returns without RMA number will be refused. RMA numbers are valid for 10 days from the date of issue. Note that defective products will only be replaced if they cannot be repaired.
